It's Been a Minute, Hasn't It?!

Good Morning, 167! Sitting here on the school bus on the way to a field trip, I just wanted to take a moment to say HI! We've been pretty quiet for the last little bit. Those pesky real-life moments have a way of creeping in, don't they?? No worries, all is well, just other things popped up that needed attention and with just the two of us trying to hold this thing together, it gets hard to keep up with the communications 📷:) BUT, we ARE still here and just as motivated to grow this group to bring connection, celebration, and opportunity to our district, our schools, or teachers, and, most importantly, our amazing students!

The PTO will be at the Health, Wellness, and Safety Fair at BMS on Wednesday, May 15th. Our final parent meeting of the year is Friday, May 17th at BMS at 6:30pm. We are currently assembling an advisory committee consisting of 1 teacher and 1 parent from each school to help us better understand our individual school communities and serve them better. The last 2 years have gone by so quickly and have taught us so much! We 100% believe in this organization and what it brings, and can bring, to this district! The tough part is, try as we might, we can't add more hours to the day or more arms to our bodies. We can.not. flourish without the support and service of you, the FANTASTIC parents of School District 167!! Please consider joining the team! Come to the final meeting on May 17th! There's so much more we can do, so much farther we can go, if we go together!! Service to our families, service to our communities, service to our kids.. What's better than that??
