Jennifer is the mom of 2 Brookwood 167 students. She and her husband have been residents of Glenwood for 14 years. She comes from a family of teachers and has a deep appreciation for the struggles faced by students and teachers, alike. Her greatest goal, as part of the PTO, is to help grow a sense of community throughout SD167.
"If you plan to stay in Glenwood throughout your child's early education years, especially if you live on the east side of town, you will touch all 4 schools. We need to care about what's happening within each school's individual culture, just as we would if our schools were K-8. We need to be involved to make sure we speak the same 'language' at home as they do at school, so we know what happens in our children's day to day, and, most importantly, so we can meaningfully advocate for our children, and all students, from a place of true understanding."
